Among Tuaran honey, this honey is made only from the nectar of carefully selected fragrant flowers.
Compared to regular Tuaran honey, it has a rich floral aroma that you can feel the moment you put it in your mouth.
Tuaran honey is honey from wild giant bees that make their nests in Tuaran trees in the tropical rainforests of Pahang, Malaysia. About 100 beehives are made in one tree. This honey is collected by a group of professional honey collectors called "honey hunters" among the "Orang Asli" (natives) who live in nearby villages. They climb these large trees with only traditional tools: a nail about 15 cm long, a torch, and a container. They risk their lives to do this work, which involves the risk of being stung by bees or falling. Tuaran honey contains enzymes, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and many other nutrients, and is said to be particularly excellent in antioxidants, making it a true blessing from the Malaysian jungle.
It has just the right amount of sweetness and goes well with a variety of foods, making it ideal for giving to children.
